چکیده
Abstract Objectives To explore the role of dual-specific phosphatase 1 (DUSP1) in proliferation, migration and invasion pancreatic cancer (PC). Methods TCGA GTEx databases were used to investigate relationship between DUSP1 expression prognosis PC patients. Expression efficiency was validated by qPCR western blotting. The proliferation SW1990 PANC-1 cells with overexpression or knockout detected EdU assays. migratory invasive abilities wound healing transwell Results highly expressed associated poor Overexpression promoted regulating nephronectin (NPNT), whereas exhibited opposite effects. NPNT positively correlated DUSP1, overall survival patients high levels shorter. Conclusions upregulating NPNT, suggesting may be a potential target for treatment.

TBX2 over-expression promotes nasopharyngeal cancer cell proliferation and invasion
TBX2 is a member of the T box transcription factor family. Its expression and potential biological functions in nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) cells are studied here. We showed that TBX2 mRNA and protein expression was significantly elevated in multiple human NPC tissues, as compared with that in adjacent normal tissues. Knockdown of TBX2 by targeted-siRNA significantly inhibited proliferation and...
متن کاملPaeoniflorin suppresses pancreatic cancer cell growth by upregulating HTRA3 expression
Paeoniflorin (PF) is an active monoterpene glycoside extracted from Paeonia lactiflora Pall. PF has exhibited antitumor effects in various cancer types. However, the effects of PF in pancreatic cancer are largely unexplored. Here, we showed that PF suppressed growth of pancreatic cancer cell lines Capan-1 and MIAPaCa-2 and profoundly sensitized these cells to X-ray irradiation. Through microarr...
متن کاملPEG10 overexpression induced by E2F-1 promotes cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in pancreatic cancer
BACKGROUND Overexpression of paternally expressed gene-10 (PEG10) is known to promote the progression of several carcinomas, however, its role in pancreatic cancer (PC) is unknown. We investigated the expression and function of PEG10 in PC. METHODS PEG10 expression and correlation with PC progression was assessed in cancerous tissues and paired non-cancerous tissues. Further, the role of PEG1...
متن کاملDecreased TUSC3 Promotes Pancreatic Cancer Proliferation, Invasion and Metastasis.
Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease with dismal prognosis. It is of paramount importance to understand the underlying etiological mechanisms and identify novel, consistent, and easy-to-apply prognostic factors for precision therapy. TUSC3 (tumor suppressor candidate 3) was identified as a potential tumor suppressor gene and previous study showed TUSC3 is decreased in pancreatic cancer at...
متن کاملmiR-506 inhibits cell proliferation and invasion by targeting TET family in colorectal cancer
Objective(s): Ten-eleven translocation (TET) family members have been shown to be involved in the development of many tumors. However, the biological role of the TET family and its mechanism of action in colorectal carcinogenesis and progression remain poorly understood. Materials and Methods:We measured the expression levels of TET family members in colorectal cancer (CRC) specimens, in the c...
